Compressor overhauling
Compressor is Overheating
Screw
compressors may overheat due to many reasons. Some of these reasons:
1.
Make
sure that the room in which your compressor is running is ventilated properly.
If your compressor is running in a closed or constricted environment, rising
ambient temperature may cause your compressor to overheat.
2.
Direct
the ejected hot air from the radiator of your compressor to outside of the
compressor room. Doing so will prevent hot air flow into the compressor and
will decrease the ambient temperature.
3.
Make
sure that the compressor is not exposed to sunlight in hot seasons.
4.
If
the panel filter located at the top of your compressor is stuffed, the fan
cannot cool the radiator and overheating will occur.
5.
If
the radiator is clogged, airflow will not be possible through the radiator core
and overheating will occur.
6.
Any
blockage that may occur in the inner piping of the compressor will prevent oil
circulation and the compressor will overheat.
